Re-Discovering An Old Friend
In an instant, she was free of socks and shoes. She was no longer bound by such reminders of a place and time, where she must work, pay bills, and take care of all other responsibilities and obligations. The moment her toes connected with the sand, they wriggled with glee and the beach seemed to say, "Welcome home. Where have you been? You have been away so long! Come and see all you have been missing!"
